Program Description

Experience a day trip to the ancient Greek city Halicarnassus, where Herodotus was born. Today Bodrum is one of the most popular places in Turkey and famous for its open-air market. The boat takes 30 minutes to arrive at Bodrum. Upon the arrival and after customs and passport control guests will get on the busses and start the City Tour. First stop will be the Windmills, where they can have panoramic photos of the whole Bodrum bay. Next stop is at Myndos Gate, and after the Amphitheatre from outside. The city tour is finishing in the Gold center where guests have the opportunity to find quality jewelry at good prices. In a short period there are mini busses bringing the guests back in the center where they can have free time for lunch or shopping till the time they will meet again at the Bus station in town to be transferred to the Cruise port. After the custom and passport control, departure from Bodrum approximately at 16:30.

The trip was almost a run, there was very little time for leisurely sightseeing, and shopping during free time certainly added to the attraction due to its Turkish character.
