Program Description

Ronda is one of the most picturesque towns in Andalusia, dramatically set among the mountains and divided by the spectacular El Tajo Gorge. Combined with a visit to the unique village of Setenil de las Bodegas, this excursion showcases two of southern Spain's most remarkable destinations, blending breathtaking scenery, rich history and the charm of Andalusia's famous white villages.

The journey begins with a stop in Setenil de las Bodegas, one of the most extraordinary villages in Spain. Famous for its houses built directly into and beneath massive rock overhangs, Setenil offers a truly unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Andalusia. You will have approximately one hour of free time to stroll through its narrow streets, admire the distinctive architecture, browse local shops or relax in one of the cafés nestled beneath the rocks.

The tour then continues to Ronda, where you will discover the town's most iconic landmarks. One of the highlights is the famous Puente Nuevo, the impressive stone bridge spanning the dramatic El Tajo Gorge. From here, you can enjoy unforgettable panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

You will also visit the oldest bullring in the world, an important landmark deeply rooted in Andalusian tradition. It’s a fascinating place that offers insight into local culture and history.

At the end of the tour, you will step into Casa de San Juan Bosco, a beautiful residence with a garden overlooking the valley. Here, you will enjoy a tasting of regional wines, discovering another side of Ronda through its flavours.

The tour in the selected language operates subject to a minimum number of participants.

Franek, the guide, was great. The views were fantastic. I recommend it. The only downside was that we were picked up at a gas station instead of the hotel at 5:50 a.m., which was a bit of a ...
