Pick up from the meeting point in Seville and begin your unforgettable adventure to Caminito del Rey. The trekking route starts in Ardales, goes through Antequera and ends in El Chorro. The trail hanging along vertical walls is located approximately 100 m above the Guadalhorce River, offering unique views.
The name of the route, dating from 1921, commemorates King Alfonso XIII, who walked it after the inauguration of the Conde de Guadalhorce dam. Despite falling into disrepair and gaining a reputation as the most dangerous trail in Europe, extensive renovation work began in 2014. Currently, the safe, 7-kilometer route is open to visitors, offering a stunning walk along the Guadalhorce-Guadalteba Reservoir and the stunning Gaitanes and Gaitanejo gorges.
After the trekking in Caminito del Rey is completed transfer to a local restaurant where you can enjoy the typical cuisine of the region or take some free time. Return to Seville in the evening.
