The tour begins with an ascent to the top of Mount Tahtali, which in ancient times was called Olympus, or according to Greek mythology, it was the seat of the gods, including Zeus. Nowadays, the summit of Tahtali (2365 meters above sea level) can be conquered by any mortal who boards one of the fastest gondola railroads in Europe (Olympos Teleferik) - it takes about 15 minutes to ascend the 4359-meter-long route. At the top you can enjoy panoramic views - the Mediterranean Sea, the Lycian Coast and, if the visibility is good, even Antalya, 30 km away. Next you will visit a charming village of Ulupinar, located on the border of the Olympos National Park. Time for lunch and then relax on a beautiful Cirali beach.
